The CPI in January 2010 decreased by 0.31% from the preceding month (rose by 0.03% less housing cost). Over the last 12 months the CPI rose by 6.6% (CPI less housing cost rose by 10.9%) while the change over the last 3 months is equivalent to an annual inflation of 3.7% (6.7% inflation less housing cost).
