The CPI in February 2011 rose by 1.2% from the preceding month (rose by 1.2% less housing cost). Over the last 12 months the CPI rose by 1.9% (CPI less housing cost rose by 2.2%) while the change over the last 3 months is equivalent to an annual inflation of 2.4% (2.4% inflation less housing cost). In Iceland, the HICP fell by 1.17% in January from the preceding month and fell by 0.26% in the EEA. Over the 12 months to January the HICP in Iceland rose by 2.2% and by 2.7% in the EEA.
